7th  The Wind SW. and blew pretty high all day. I made some hay in the morning but was forced to leave it off for the Wind.
8th.  The Wind E. & NE. A Dull dark day & very like to rain but kept dry all day, This day I begun to reap.
9th  The Wind E. a gloomy Morning, very fair till 5 a clock when it made some little rain, a pretty good markett to day at LLanfechell, I bought a side of small young mutton for 9d. & a quarter of Rock Venison that was very large & fat for 8d.
10th.  The Wind S.E. Gloomy weather & driveing Clouds in the Morning, made very heavy rain about 8, that the reapers were forced to leave off reaping. rained still more or less till 12 a clock, cleared up & was fair in the Evening, rained again very hard a little before sun sett. a very good fair to day at Newborough
