Decr. 26th.  The Wind S.W.&by W. a fair Sun shiny day & dry. a very great Congregation at Church to day, and about 90 Comunicants. The Parson finished ye Sermon that he begun the 19th. Instant, we were kept so long in Church by reason of the Sermon, Sacrament, & reading the Act of Parliament against prophane Cursing & swearing, that it was above half an hour past one when we went out, the Sun shining upon the Eastern Pannel of my Seat. gave 6d. to the LLanerchymedd Post boy, that went about by way of Colera'r Gwiliau
27th.  The Wind S.W. very high, blustering & stormy all day long– about 11 in the Morning it begun to rain, & rained smart showers from that time till past one in the Evening, the rest of the day dry, but still windy.
28th.  The Wind S.S.W. very calm, and raining very hard all the Morning .& till 2 in the Evening, the Rest of the day fair & dry.
29th.  The Wind S.W. blowing moderately. dry & fair in ye Morning but all the Evening dirty & raining all along, my people carrying Stones all this day (that were dug out of the plowed ground in Cae'r LLoriau in Coydan ) to make up the Wall from Coydan House to the River. sometime before day, last night dyed William Bulkeley of Glanalaw, the husband of Ann Warmingham the Heiress of Plas yn LLan in this parish he left her 2 boys, but in what circumstances he died– time will shew, he made great blustering in the world, & put his Landlord John Owen of Presaddved to a great unnecess=ary expence in altering the House, & making additions & conveniences, that were never thought of by the Owner Mr. David Wms. besides a vast number of Roods of Stone wall, the Expence of all came to (they say ) 200L.he dyed after 24 hours illness. & as his Master was altogether from home since Michaelmas last to about 8 days ago, tis pre–sumed he settled no accounts with him. being his agent and Rent gatherer these severall years.
