18th. The Wind S.W. fair & dry & continued so all day, my people every day plowing & harrowing for Oats, & the Lad in the Garden planting & Supplicing the borders with Savoy hyssop &c.

19th. The Wind S.W. blowing a great storm of wind about 2 in the Morning & raining very hard, both which continued with very little intermission till 8, then fair & Sun-shiny & dry all the rest of the day, The Parson preached on Proverbs Chap. 22d. vers 6th. at the yearly foot ball match in Towyn Patrick: LLanbadrick people brought the foot ball with very little opposition within 3 fields of LLanvechell village, a thing not known before in the memory of man.
