March i8th.  The Wind W. & little of it, dark cloudy weather this day also & drying but little: To Day and yesterday my people were harrowing small Oats .
i9th.  The Wind E. blowing moderate but very cold & for the most part cloudy & dark, but made no rain till 8 at night; The Curate preached on Mat: Chap: 26th. & verses 26 & 27th.
20th.  The Wind variable all this day, from E. to N. & freezed a little this morning about break of day: and dryed pretty well this day.
2ist.  The Wind E. blowing very fresh & exceeding cold, dark & cloudy weather all this day , but continued dry·
22d.  The Wind E. blowing fresh and very cold with some frost this morning about 9 it begun to bring down feathered snow which quite covered the ground in half an hour, & continued afterwards to snow more or less till 2 in the Evening, but was all melted in a manner by 5 a clock: pd. 2s.8d. for a Leghorn letter, & paid 7s. i0d. Church Tax to Hugh Thomas of Cors y ddafad.
23d.  The Wind E. calm, cloudy and dark weather, but dry all this day.

The Wind W. very calm, cloudy dark weather & not cold all this day also, pd. 6d. for fish: This being Good friday, there was not one bit of Butcher's meat at LLanfechell Market.

25th.  The Wind N. W. blowing moderate, cloudy & dark weather for the most part, but dry all day, yet made heavy rain this night: i02 persons did communicate at LLanfechell this day: Paid 6s. for 2 ordinary lambs for my family too morrow, one weighed i3 pound & half , the other ii pound & half, head, plucks [heart, lungs and trachea sw] & all·

26th. Easter day [this is written in the margin below '26th.' sw]  

The Wind S. blowing moderate, cloudy and dark all day, but made no rain, yet the Evening was exceeding cold: i85 persons received ye Sacrament this day, & the Curate preached on the Evening [? sw] Cor ; Chap; i5th. & verse 20th. gave 2s. to a Collection for the poor of thisparish ˙

27th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, especially in the Evening & very cold cloudy & dark all day, but made no rain.
28th.  The Wind S. blowing pretty fresh all this day, and dark cloudy weather, but — made no rain this day likewise.
29th.  The Wind W. & by N. very calm, Sun Shiny & very warm all this day.
30th.  The Wind W N.W. very calm, Sun shiny, fair and warm all this day likewise – and to day I begun to Sow Great Oats: gave 2s to Wm. Wms.the Son of Owen Wms.the glazier·
