December 27th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh & cold, some Sun Shine and dry all this day, but rained in the night: Pd. Thomas Jones the Chanter i4s. for four pound weight of ordinary Bohea Tea.
28th.  The Wind S. blowing moderate, dark, cloudy weather all day, and raining hard without intermission till 3 in the Evening – [this line is cup-shaped sw] gave 6d. to LLanerchymedd Post Boy.
29th.  The Wind W. blowing fresh and exceeding cold weather & very wet, but was dry this day , yet it rained in the night .
30th.   7● [this is written vertically in the margin below '30th.' sw]  The Wind W. blowing fresh all day, and very high &stormy in the night and rained hard beside, insomuch that plowing is quite laid aside .
3ist.  The Wind S. W. blowing moderate, cloudy dark weather with a dirty mizling rain frequently all the day, which concludes the year i758·
