January 14th.

The Wind E. very calm in the Morning with a very hard frost, and a great hoar frost; about noon the Wind ris & blew fresh all the Evening, but sun shiny & fair all day. A full Market to day at LLanfechell of Corn, Butter &cheese, but no Butcher's meat.

15th.  The Wind E. in the morning, with a great hoar frost & frost, came about noon to S.S.W. & thawed very fast, about 4 in the Evening it settled again in N.E. & freezed hard all night. My people all this week are employed in makeing up the Pinfold at Cefn y groes for next Summer.
16th.  The Wind S.E. in the morning with some frost, clear & Sun shiny, settled at S. by Noon & grew cloudy and over cast , but made no rain .
17th.  The Wind S. cloudy & overcast, cold & raw weather; especially in the Evening ; about 6 it made a great shower of rain which brought the Wind to N.W. the rest of the night clear & starry.
18th.  The Wind N. W. blowing moderately and not very cold, Sun shiny & clear till 4, cloudy & dark the rest of the day. 
19th.  The Wind W. cloudy, dark close weather all day; on the fall of night it made someshowers of cold sleet.
20th.  The Wind N.W. blowing cold, but sunshiny all day about 7 it begun to freeze, which it did most part of the Night.
