March 12th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh and cold, but dry and – generally Sun Shiny till 4 in the Evening when it grew cloudy and made some rain: Was to day at LLanleiana Park a Simpling; and my Man brought home severall uncommon plants to be planted in my Orchard.
13th.  The Wind S. blowing high all day, especially in the Evening, cloudy and dark all day and made some rain about 4 and a good deal in the night·
14th.  The Wind S. in the morning, blowing fresh and cold, cloudy and dark with some showers of rain in the morning, and one very heavy shower in the Evening. and more in the night: before night the wind came to, and settled at W.
15th.  The Wind W. blowing very fresh and very cold yet it dryed well all this day: pd. 1s. 9d. for a Lamb: and is. 9d. for Garden seed.
16th. 9● [this is written vertically in the margin below '16th.' sw] The Wind W. blowing fresh and very cold, but drying well, and was generally Sun Shiny and fair, yet made some rain about noon : My people finished plowing at Coydan Park this day, & they came to Bryn – - clynni : Set Bodlwyfan for the term of 5 years to comence at Allst. next to Wm. Sion David now liveing at Tyddyn y Beiddu for the old rent of 5 pound.
17th.  The Wind W. & by S. blowing fresh and very cold all day & generally cloudy and dark,and made some rain about 4 in the Evening,  and a great deal in the night.

i9th.  The Wind N.E. blowing very moderate,but cold, yet generally Sun Shiny and fair and dry all day.

21st.  The Wind W. & by N. blowing very moderate,and generally cloudy & dark all day, and some parts of the day was warm & some very cold. To Day I begun to Sow Oats .
22d.  The Wind variable & chopping about all day from W. to N. and N E. blew moderate, yet was very cold, but Sun Shiny & dry; Some frost this morning on the water & a very great hoar frost: paid is. [1/- sw] for a Side & the head of a Lamb, & 6d. for Garden Seed . 
23d.  The Wind S.&by E.blowing fresh, generally Sun Shiny, & drying well all day- Paid 5s. for a pound weight of Tea; and iis. 9d. Church tax for my land in this parish at 3d. a pound . pd. likewise 5s. 9d. for a Wine Cask of 24 Gallons
