Febr. 2d.  The Wind S.W. cloudy and dark, & cold withall yet no rain . A very great congregation to day at —– LLanfechell Church; The Parson preached on 1. Sam. Chap · 2d. vers. 7[th sw]. pd. the Church warden of LLanfechell 7s. 10d. Church Mize. and pd. Catherine Rowland 6d. 8d. [presume WB means 6s. 8d. sw] Annuity left her by Mr. Wynne of Rydgroes.
3d. The Wind blowing very high at S. S. W.  in the morning, a very great shower of rain about 7 brought it to N.W. & so to W. it rained more or less till past 8. all the rest of the day sun shiny & fair.
4th.  The Wind W. and raining all the morning till 9 — from that time all the rest of the day sunshiny & dry .
5th.  The Wind W. & by N. calm &fair & generally Sun shiny, but cold, all day, A very poor market to day at LLanfechell.
6th.  The Wind W. in the Morning & raining driveing rain most part of the morning, made a shower of hail in ye Evening which brought the Wind N.W. & fix'd it at last in N.W. & by N. and blew a rank storm all night. which did a great deal of mischief, as breaking of – houses, Stacks of hay & corn &c.
7th.  The Wind N.N.W. very high & stormy, & excessive cold all day, & brought down severall showers of hail &feathered snow, which all soon disappeared.
8th [SYMBOL LLEUAD LLAWN] 1   The Wind N.N.E. & not high; the Earth covered with snow this morning which fell sometime last night. this day was calm & moderately warm.
