The Wind S. S. E. blowing fresh, Sunshiny and cloudy weather attended with showers of rain by turns and made a great deal of rain this night; paid 2s. for Ship Bisca[k sw]e·

25th  The Wind S. blowing moderate and generally Sun shine, yet made frequent showers of rain this day, and rained excessive hard almost all this night. Pd. 5s. for spinning a flanel.
26th.  The Wind S. W. blowing pretty fresh with intervals of showers & Sun Shine, and rained exceeding hard for most part of this night also: Paid Hugh Sion William 3s. for a side of Mutton weighing 23 pound.
27th.  The Wind S. S. E. blowing pretty fresh and generally dry all this day but rained very hard almost all this night also: My people all this – week were digging stones at Brynnie Duon and carrying them to make the wall in the River below Brynclynni betwixt me and Tyddyn y Mieri·
28th.  The Wind W. blowing very fresh and cold and raining hard all the morning: about noon it left off and the Sun appeared
