Sepr. 19th.  The Wind E. Sun shiny & warm in the morning, the Evening dark and cloudy, but yet made no rain.
20th.  The Wind E. blowing fresh & cold, & generally Sun shiny and clear.
21st.  The Wind E. moderately calm, Sunshiny & very warm, especially in the Evening . LLan[e sw]rchmedd Fair proved very good & a great deal of buying . Paid a Flintshire — Smugler that was come to Cemaes from ye Isle of Man 25s. for 5 Gallons of French Brandy which I think is right good.
22d  The Wind Variable all day, & so is the weather, sometime very cold & raw, at other times warm & Sultry, & then cold again.The Market at LLanerchmedd much ye Same as the week before .
23d.  The Wind E. calm, but dark & cloudy all day, nothing else remarkeable.
24th.  The Wind from N.W. in the morning to E.N.E. in the Evening very calm, but cloudy & overcast all day. my people this Evening are prepareing to go to Berw [Pentre Berw; there was a coalfield at Ysgeifiog with a Holland family of Holland Arms connection sw] to fetch Coal this night. & sent 24s. 4d2/1 to pay for it.
25th.  The Wind varying all day from N.W. to E.N.E.&raining– hard about 2 in the morning, cloudy afterwards till 10. all ye rest of the day sun shiny & clear. pd. Abraham Jones's bill being i8s. 5d. pd. likewise for quilting a bed quilt 2s. 6d. The people were at home with the Coal (being two tons three Barrels &half by i in - the Evening ·
