laid out for what I sent for; gave Peggy Mossom 5s. gave to Gracy Wright 5s. and to Anna Wright 2s. gave to John Ifan 4s to – defray their expences to night in Town; they Set out from hence a quarter past i0, the weather very moderate, but as ye Evening proved very stormy I am afraid the poor Children were half starved before they reached Beaumares
February 22d.  The Wind W. blowing moderate, Sun Shiny fair & pleasant all day, and dryed well: pd. i8d. for a Side of Veal at Llanfechell markett, 
23d.  The Wind S. calm and warm with a mizling rain in the — morning till 9: the rest of the day was dry, fair & pleasant: My people all this week at the same work of plowing in Coydan – Park: Set Garlick today in the New Orchard.
24th.  The Wind S. blowing high and stormy & raining hard with little intermission from before Sun rise till near 4 in the Evening: The Priest preached on Psalm ii9th. verse 106th. gave 2s. 6d. towards a Coll[c sw]tion for a poor Bed rid man with 7 Children, of this parish .
25th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, Sun Shiny, clear & fair all day till near 5 in the Evening when it made a great Shower of rain; but the night was calm & dry.
26th.  The Wind S.S.W. blowing exceeding high, stormy & tempestuous from i in the morning till one in the Evening and raining from that time till 8 in the morning excessive hard, yet the Wind was not one bit allayed, insomuch that it did abundance of mischief on houses, Corn & hay stacks; rooting up Trees and breaking some trees in the middle & splitting others, all ^these^ in my Orchard onely and probably in other places also: & tho the great storm was much abated about i in the Evening, yet it blew high all the rest of the day and night.
27th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, and generally Sun shiny and dry– yet made a small shower about noon: Paid into the hands of Ann Warmingham to be pd. to Mr. Wm. Roberts of Bodiar 20 pounds being Mr. Wright's Interest money for 400L. that he owes him: gave her likewise 3s. to buy me 2/1 pound of Tea.
28th.  The Wind S. S. W. blowing pretty fresh, Sun shiny, fair and clear most part of the day, yet it made some little rain on the fall of night: The storm on Tuesday last rooted up, broke & split a great many Trees at Cromlech; some said it was 8 or 9 Trees·
