Decr. 18th.  The Wind S. & by E. in the Morning, & S. in the Evening. very boisterous, tempestuous, & Stormy all day long, & rained sharply about 7 in the Evening, but that did not allay the Wind one bit, rained again very hard before day
19th. The Wind W. & in the Evening N.W. very calm, dark & cloudy– & made a little rain in the Evening. To day my people begun to cut the fresh Sand ground in Ferem. pd. 1d.2/1 for Ale
20th.  The Wind S.E. calm, sun-shiny & very fair, all day long – to day I sowed the first Beans this year in the fresh trenched ground of the New Kitchen garden
21st.  The Wind E. very fair Sun - shiny & calm, & a good deal of Hoar frost this Morning, Sowed Pease the first time in the wall Garden.
22d.  The Wind E. & by S. dark, cloudy, cold & raw weather, & from 10 in the Morning till 5 in the Evening it rained a mizling cold rain with very little intermission when it begun to blow high, & blew a rank storm from 2 in the Mor<n>ing till day accompanyed with very heavy rain .
23d.  The Wind S.W. Stormy, rainy, cold raw weather all day, pd. Rowland ap Probert my Tenant in Tŷ [t sw]an y graig (& last year in Carreg Lefn) 2s. 7d. for work over & above his last year's rent. all the Night was prodigious stormy both Wind & rain. 
24th.  The Wind S.S.W. stormy & high,(but calmer than last night,) attended with driveing Showers of cold rain, the Evening very calm & fair, tho it made severall showers in the night. my people still at the same work in cutting up fresh sand ground at Ferem .
