W. calm,dark and cloudy for ye most part, and brought down a small shower of rain about noon and another about 2 in theEvening whereby it stop'd my hay makers from that work: Pd. 2s 6d. for 2 house brushes. |
| 28th. The Wind S. blowing fresh, cloudy and dark weather all day, yet generally very Sultry, about 4 it made a mizling rain till near 6, but not heavy; gave Anna Wright 2s. to pay the Taylor for — mending her stays. |
