Novr. 22d.  The Wind E. calm, sun Shiny & fair with a hoar frost & some frost in the morning, tho it rained very hard last night. Planted to day at Gâllt ddu 5 Eugh Trees, 4 where fir Trees had failed, & i in an open place in ye South North hedge.
23d.  The Wind E.S.E. cold & raw, attended with frequent show – ­–ers of very cold rain, allowed the Tenant of Clygyrog ucha 14s. 8d. for repairs & a glass window, & 1L. 1s. 8d. land tax. Set Tyddyn y Gors for the term of 4 years to David ab David Lewis (born in LLanfaelog parish, & who lately fucked my present Tenant ' Jane uch ifan's Daughter) at the old Rent of 30s. & the usuall presents.
24th.  The Wind E. blowing fresh, very cold & raw weather yet continued dry all day . the Market at LLanerchmedd much the same as before.
25th.  The Wind E. cold & raw, & very dry, Sowed some Pease & Beans to day for the first time .
26th.  The Wind E & by N. dark & cloudy blowing fresh and excessive cold all day; Not one bit of Butcher's meat at LLanfechell Market to day . Pd. the Weaver 2s for weaving 4 blankets.
27th.  The Wind E.N.E. dark & cloudy with some frost this morning, & all day very cold . my people all this week plowing for small Oats at Coydan; pd. Joseph ye Taylor 3d. for mending my Cloaths. sent 10L. being 2 year's —— Rent by Samuel Jones of Gwenithfryn to Mr.Wm. Morris of Holy head to be by him transmitted to Mrs. Parry of Dublin .
