Sepr. 20th.  The Wind S.S.W. a very fine clear day, & in the — Evening it blew very hard, & dryed very well, we came from LLysdulas to Cwtt y Dwndwr about 12, there we dined, & before we could finish settling all accounts, it was near 9 at night , by which agreemt. I am to give Lewis Trysclwyn my Bond & Judgmt. upon it for 300L. with a cessat Executio [stay of execution sw] till the first of May, to pay him then down 47L. 16s. I went to LLysdulas back [this sw] night Paid Hugh Price 23stopay the King's Rent for Bodneva at the Audit:
∣1❍ 21st.∣  The Wind SW. rained prodigiously & blew a meer Storm on the break of Day, all the rest of the day fair & pleasant.
22d.  The Wind S. & S S.E. a dark, cloudy dirty day, raining a small mizling rain with a driving wind most part of the day, pd. Richd Jones the Gardiner ats ['ats' is underlined in another pen, or pencil sw] Owen Ar[a sw] 4s to go to the fair at LLanerchymedd, The Fair proved a pretty good one a great many Cattle bought, but low rates.
23d.  The Wind S.E. calm clear & fair, a Dew this morning as great as after much rain, ’twas noon before it was dryed up. Evening warm & Sultry, spent 3d for Ale
24th.  The Wind S.W, calm & fair in the Morning, about i0 it begun to blow high & continued so till 3 in ye Evening, thesky likewise — cloudy & overcast, but made no rain till 4 in ye Evening, to day I had the rest of my Barley made being 370 shocks, & some great Oats, had it almost all in before the rain, the rest of my Barley & great & Small Oats was had in while I was in the Sessions, the barley being 210 shocks, Great Oats 220, small oats 100. & in Cnewchdernog, 25 shocks Great Oats, & 77 small Oats.
25th.  The Wind S. a clear dry day, & pretty windy, William Bevan of Croes Fechan, John ab William Lewis of Nannar in Cemlyn & Owen Prichard of Plâs ynghemlyn met at LLanfechell to receive horses they had bought for Chester fair; some of them setting out to day, they had betwixt them about 40 in number; in the Evening I begun to carry in my Pease, but the rain falling about 2 was forced to desist, which continued most part of the Evening and all the Night.
