May 31st.  The Wind ·S. W. fair, sun shiny, warm and pleasant in the morning, the Evening colder – dark and cloudy for the most part. my servants are harrowing the pinfold & Sumer [there is a line over the 'me' sw] fallow at Cefn y Groes  these days.
June 1st. The Wind S.W. very hot & calm in the morning – The Evening colder and blowing high . To day I sow Beans, Kidney beans, & pease for the last time this season.
2d.  The Wind S. blowing very high & something cold, and especially in the Evening; The Market very full at LLanerchmedd to day, and Something lowered. Paid Jane Owen My house - keeper ten pounds ten shilling in part of her wages, being all she had since her being here this last time.
3d.  The Wind came to N. W. this morning upon a very great shower of rain that continued near an hour, and made a clear hot  day after it .
4th.  The Wind W. calm, clear, and hot almost all day; A full Market to day at LLanfechell, And to day my - servants begun to carry Sand from Cemaes on ye Pinfold at Cefn y Groes . pd. George ye Tinker 6d. for a Bee hive.
5th.  The Wind W. calm ,sun shiny, hot & Sultry all day

6th.   Whitsunday. [this is written below '6th.' sw]

The Wind W. very calm & sultry, tho cloudy & dark in the morning till 10, it made a little mizling rain– about 9. the rest of the day Sun shiny & hot: there was to day about 90 communicants at LLanfechell Church.
