Sepr. 26th.  The Wind S.W. blowing generally fresh- but very fair, Sun -shiny and Sultry from 9 to night. in ye Morning a little hazy wîth a dripping rain:my people all this week, after they had done mucking, were digging and carrying home gorse. others were working at the water course in Bodelwyn .
27th. The Wind S.S.W. blowing fresh & cold, & cloudy & dark withall; rained hard from ii till past 1 in ye Evening all the rest of the day sun shiny & fair .  

28th.

The Wind S.W. fair & warm, and generally sun shiny all day .

29th.  The Wind S.W. blowing fresh, but continued fair and dry all day.
30th.  The Wind S.W. a fresh gale, cloudy & dark, about i in the Evening it begun to rain, & rained hard till 4. – fair afterwards all the rest of the day . 
October 1st.  The Wind W.S.W. Sun shiny, calm, warm & fair.To day I begun to sow wheat at Cefn y Groes Pinfold.
2d.  The Wind S.W. very calm, warm, sun-shiny and fair_ a full and plentifull Market to day at Llanfechell.
3d.  The Wind S. W. raining hard from 5 in ye morning till near 8. fair afterwards till i in ye Evening when it rained a heavy shower again . My servants at the same work of plowing for Wheat, & others carrying Sand on ye Scattered hedges about Cefn y Groes pinfold.
4th.  The Wind W.N.W. blowing high and stormy All day especially in the Evening .
