February 2ist.  The Wind S.S. W. blowing high and - cold all day, yet made no rain till 9 at night when it rained hard from that time till near ii . Paid Rhŷs – Bentir 2s. for a Lamb.
22d.  The Wind S. W· blowing moderate, fair & dry & generally Sun shiny and pleasant, especially in the Evening : My- Servants did not, nor could not plow all this week,but were employed in the same work of repairing the hedge of Cae'r – ’Sgubor in Coydan·
23d.  The Wind S.S.W. blowing very and cold, especially in the Evening and night, and yet made but very little rain and that like a dew in the night·
24th.  The Wind S. W. blowing fresh, cloudy and dark all day – yet continued dry: the Evening & night especially it blew high & stormy: gave Mr. Mosson 6d. to buy thread for Anna Wright, and laid out with Andrew Maccary a Scotch Pedlar 27s. for things I bought for her. To Day I planted Garlick & Eschallotts·
25th.  The Wind S.S. W. and raining either a Sleet or hail from 3 in the morning till 5, was sun shiny, fair & dry after Sun rise and blowing fresh all day and did not make any rain·
26th.  The Wind S. blowing exceeding high & stormy all day,especially about ii in the morning my people were forced to leave off plowing to save the Corn stack that the Wind was blowing over the hedges. it rained very hard about 2 in the Evening which allayed a little of it, but it continued to blow stormy all the day.
27th.  The Wind W. and blowing fresh, drying well & generally Sun shiny for most part of the day.
28th.  The Wind S. S. W. and blowing moderate, generally Sun shiny & fair and pleasant for the time of the year : pd. 8d. for a Side of a very poor lamb: it is very remarkable that the 26th. of February the year ^last^ before this we had such another stormy & tempestuous day which see in Page i5i.
29th.  The Wind S. S. W. blowing fresh & drying well, and generally - Sun shiny & fair: Pd. Robert Davies the Currier 47s. which my Son owed his Brother William Davies by Note . My people these 2 last days were fallowing at Brynclynni which begins now to be a little dry.
