10th. The Wind N. E. very calm, dark & cloudy in the morning The Evening Sun Shiny fair & hot . Pd. 3d. for Ale at Cemaes There was but a thin Fair to day at Newboroug, and considering the small number of Cattle in the Fair — there was a great many Sold, but no very high rates being from 8 to 12 pound a pair the best. |
11th. The Wind N. E very calm, cloudy & Sultry close weather all the morning, the Evening Sun shiny and clear. the Market at LLanerchmedd much the same as before, and very full. |
12th. The Wind N E. very calm & Sultry, but cloudy and dark all this day . To Day I begun to reap. |
13th. The Wind W. & by S. with some little breeze, cloudy & dark all the morning, but sultry, and the Evening sunshiny and very hot. |
14th. The Wind N.E. very calm, Sunshiny, hot & sultry all day, I have few reapers to day (LLanerchmedd Fair which proved very good ) took of a great many. |
15th. The Wind N.E. calm & very Sultry dark weather— about noon it made a small still shower of warm rain and about 8 it begun to rain in earnest, & it rained I believe most part of the night. the parson preached on 2.Pet. Chap. 3d. vers. 18th. Pd. Grace Mostyn 12s. 6d. for Salt &c. & delivered her 10s. 6d. to buy me an Iron Pot in Liverpool. |
