July 2d. The Wind W. and by N. Sun-shiny clear, & excessive hott all day till sun-sett, a very great congregation today at LLanfechell Church .
3d.  The Wind N.W very clear, hott & Sultry all day, & an excellent day in the Hay, finished my upland Hay at home, all but one field at Bodelwyn that I keep longer uncutt for seeding, and am now raking & dressing upland hay at Coydan Park, pd. 7s. 5d. for carrying i500 Laths & 3000 Lath nails from Leverpool to — Holy-head, a very sweet bargain !
4th.  The Wind N.W. fair, sun-shiny & very hott, begun to rain— about 3 in the Evening & rained till 7, but not heavy, my people still at the Same work.

The Wind varying all day from N.W. to N.E. and so to E. very cloudy and dark, and excessive hott, there being hardly breeze to fann the Air, the Markett at LLanerchymedd continuing very low still as it has this 2 months ago.

6th.  The Wind variable all day, fair and Sun-shiny, & very hott my people very busy in dressing the hay at Coydan  _
7th.  The Wind S. dark & cloudy & very hott & Sultry, a pretty good Markett to day at LLanfechell, gave Catherine uch Parry who brought me a present of 6 Chickens from Ellin uch Richd Thomas of Nant y Frân 6d.
8th.  The Wind W.N.W. blowing fresh, sun-shiny & warm, all my people busy in dressing of hay every day. pd.1s. at a Raffling of Hugh Lewis Cadi of Cefn Helig that suffered a great loss the last month by haveing his Boat cast away, & staved topieces.
9th.  The Wind N.N.W. blowing fresh, but very hott & sultry,clear - Air & Sun-shiny, no Sermon to day, tho there was one due,Set out about 4 in ye Evening for LLysdulas in my way to Beaumares to keep the Quarter Sessions too-morrow,
