Febr. 16th.  The Wind S.E in the Morning & very calm dark cloudy weather, thawing the Snow very fast, which was all melted without rain to speak of by i in the Evening, the Wind cam[eito sw] the Evening to S.W & blew high with a hazy moist Air, but made no rain.
17th.  The Wind S. & by W. raining in the Morning till 8, the rest of the day cloudy, dark & very cold raw weather, a Small Market to day at LLanfechell & Very few people.
18th.  The Wind S. & very cold raw weather & raining a dirty mizling rain all the Morning_My people these days when the rain per-mits them scowr old Hedges, the lad in the Garden digs ye borders. the Evening sun-shiny & fair.
19th.  The Wind E. calm, clear & serene with a great hoar-frost this morning,& continued fair, warm and pleasant all day.
20th.  The Wind W. blowing very cold. rained a great deal before day, but afterwards dry all thoroughout  .
21st.  The Wind S.W. dark & cloudy, & blowing fresh, about 2 in the Evening it begun to rain, & rained all ye Evening & I believe most part of the night.
22d  The Wind S. & by W, Raining hard in the Morning till 8.– thenceforward an intermission of fair weather & cold showers of rain by turns all the rest of the day & the Wind came to N.W in the Evening, & blew hard all night. The Market at LLanerchymedd very slow, Little asking or buying,& the price very low.

The Wind W. blowing high & cold, but very clear and serene the Evening very calm & the wind allayed. pd. Wm. Wms. the Gardiner of Caera 1s. 6d for 3℥ [this is the apothecary symbol for an ounce sw] of Onion Seeds 1s, for 3℥ of Carrot Seeds. & 3d. for 3℥ of Parsnip seeds –

24th.  The Wind W. very cold, but dry & serene, a pretty good Markett to day at LLanfechell —
