4● [this is written in the margin opposite this entry sw] June 17th.  The Wind S.W, sultry & scorching & very dry a very full Markett to day at LLanfechell, & very good meat, I carry Oats all this day on board a Ship at Cemaes for Mr. William Vickers the Post-Master of Holy – head to be exported to Dublin, the Evening calmer & warmer with some small showers of rain.
18th.  The Wind N, calm, cloudy & pretty warm, the Evening Sun-shiny and warm, Pd. Richd Owen of Twrkelyn the younger i0s for engrossing a Deed, Some of my Servants all this week plowing the pinfolds at – Cnewchdernog, the rest at home digging of Gorse for Winter use– the lad in the Garden still cleaning it & cutting boughs of trees yt incomoded other trees near them– 
19th.  The Wind W.S.W. dark & cloudy & very calm & warm, made a little rain about 8 in the Morning, & but very little, ’tis remark -able that this 7 or 8 days last past, that from 6 in the Evening till 10 the next morning it is very cloudy & overcast, yet it makes hardly any rain at all, the Earth exceeding dry, & the grass very poor in this part of the Countrey
20th.  The Wind S.S.W. blowing fresh ,hot & scorching & very dry. to day I begun to mow hay ,which is thinner & shorter than ever I saw it
21st.  The Wind S.S W. very cloudy dark & overcast, yet for all that it make no rain, my people unladeing a Sand Boat to day at Cemaes, & carrying home some Deal boards from thence, To Day my Mother executed a Deed to Mr. Francis LLoyd of Rhosbeirio( now in London ) for haveing formerly promised to give my two sisters, Catherine LLoyd the Wife of Lewis Edwards, & my Sister Catherine Bulkeley 700L. between them when she recovered her money from Pwllhalog, & haveing lately agreed to take from Mr. Hum. parry 1200L. in lieu of all her demands, my mother executes this deed to authorize Franis Lloyd to receive ye 1200L. & to pay Mr. Tho. LLoyd of Clement's Inn London 860L. being his Principall & Interest to ye 20th. of May last, besides 6 months Interest pd him over and above to induce him to receive his —
