March 23d.  The Wind N. blowing fresh & cold, but much warmer than yesterday, A frost and a hoar frost this – morning, and no signs of any rain near comeing —
24th.  The Wind N. E. in the morning and very calm ,sun-shiny and warm, about 10 it blew sharp & cold and came toN.W. people are very sickly in most parts of the Countrey, & news came to day from LLanerchmedd Fair of a great many substantiall farmers being dead within these two days. pd. George Warmingham 20s. of his wages. pd. 1d. for Marjoram Seed. A frost & a hoar frost this morning also which finisheth the year 1741
