January 1st.  The Wind W. & by N. moderately calm, fair and clear, about 10 I set out for LLysdulas, & came there by 12, a great company of Custom -house Officers & parsons at Dinner which was very good & plentifull & very good Malt Drink _sat up till 5 next Morning—
2d.  The Wind S.W. very calm and fair, but some small showers in the morning of warm small rain, sat up this night again till past 4 in the Morning.
3d. The Wind S. S. W. very calm and fair, onely some small showers of rain as before, sat up this night again very late.
4th.  The Wind W. calm weather , but a dark cloudy sky all day, yet made little of no rain, went to bed this night about 10 ·
5th. The Wind W. hazy and misty all day with some little small rain; about 4 in the Evening I took my leave of the family, distributed 5s. amongst the Servants, and came <home> about half an hour after 5. much fatigued .

The Wind W & by N. calm & dry all day, but generally very cloudy and dark, yet made no rain all day – spent this Evening with half a Dozen Neighbours merrily & innocently when we parted about 2 in ye morning ·

7th.  The Wind N.W. a fresh gale & cold, but sun shiny – fair & dry all day. The Market at LLannerchmedd — continues still the same as before.
8th.  The Wind N.E. blowing fresh & very cold, but sun shiny & dry all day. pd 2s. for two hundred Oysters
