October 16th.  The Wind S. S.W. raining prodigious hard from 4 in the morning till past 8, dry from that time till 10, then raining all the rest of the day & most part of the night. Paid Wm. Wynne ye Barber of Beaumares i2s for a Perwig & 6d. for Setting my Razours .

17th. 12.● [this is written in the margin below '17th.' sw] 

The Wind S. cloudy, dark & raw weather in the morning, made a sharp shower about 8 which was soon over, the rest of the day was dry, but cloudy, dark & cold. The Parson preached a piece of a Sermon on Acts Chap. 3d. vers. 19th.

18th.  The Wind W. cloudy & dark, but continued dry all day,but cold & raw.
19th.  The Wind N.W. very calm, Sun shiny, fair & warm all day, Pd. the Collector of LLanddeusant 28s. 8d. land tax for two quarterly payments for my lands in that parish.
20th.  The Wind S.W. cloudy, dark, cold & raw weather but calm & dry all day. The Market at LLanerchmedd much the same as before.
21st.  The Wind N.N.W. very calm, haveing made a — great hoar frost last night. but all day was sunshiny fair & warm; about ii I set out for Bodorgan to visit Mr. Meyrick, haveing not been there yet since he came to the Countrey . came to Bodorgan about 3 where I– found the family well.
22d.  The Wind S.W. cloudy, dark, cold & raw all day - & no stirring much out of the house, staid here this day also.
