Novr. 12th.  The Wind W. blowing fresh , cloudy & dark all day; gave Dr. Evans 10s. 6d. for visiting my Daughter who is very bad bad, haveing miscarried from ye barbarous usage & insults she received from her husband this day senight, who thereupon went a rambling towards Dublin.
13th.  The Wind N.W. cloudy, dark & calm, but cold, a pretty full Market to day at LLanfechell. pd. 14s. for 2 Gallons of butter against Winter use . & 3s. 6d. for drying Malt.& 4s. 6d. for Herrings
14th.  The Wind W. a fresh gale, but seen shiny,fair & dry —– all day. Gave my Son 20s. for his private use in his pocket. my people all these days plowing at Coydan
15th.  The Wind S.W. blowing high, cloudy, dark & cold; about 9 at night it begun to blow hard from N.W. and continued to blow a great storm all night.
16th.  The Wind N. blowing a rank storm with some hail all day; a very full Fair to day at LLanfechell & great many Cattle and horses bought. The 12th. of this — Month my old servant Richard Jones ye Gardiner came here to his place, he is to have of my Mother 3L. 10s. & I am to give him 10s more for his — wages for a year.
17th.  The Wind S.S.W. blowing fresh, dark & cloudy all day, but continued still dry.
18th.  The Wind S.W. blowing fresh, with some small showers at times, but about 7 in ye Evening it begun to rain in earnest, and rained hard most part of the night: Paid Shadrach Evans 7s. for a Quarter of Beef.
