July i7th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh & raining this morning but the day in generall was dry, but cloudy & dark; rained in the night excessive hard which it continued for the most part of it .
i8th.  The Wind S. raining in the morning, and the rest of the daywas dry, & some Sun Shine & blowing fresh: Set out from LLysdulas for home about 4 ( haveing given the Servants 4s ) and was at home by 6 ·
i9th.  The Wind S. blowing fresh, cloudy & dark , but made no rain till near night when it made a good deal of small mizling rain.
20th.  The Wind S. blowing very moderate, Sun Shiny, fair & dry all this day·
2ist.  The Wind S.S.W. calm, cloudy & dark and raining almost incessantly all day more or less.
22d.  The Wind S. calm and raining very hard in the mornîng, the Evening was dry and some Sun Shine .
23d.   9 ❍ [this is written vertically in the margin below '23d.' sw] The Wind  N. E. calm all day, cloudy & dark in the morning,but all the Evening Sun Shiny, fair, warm & dry; Pd. 3s. for a yard and half of black silk lace for Anna Wright: & pd. 4s. 6d. Ale my people had at Cemaes in discharging 9 boats or Vessels of Red Wharf Sand
24th.  The Wind N. E. calm, cloudy & dark in the morning & raining very hard till till Eleven for the most part: the Evening was dry, and generally Sun Shiny ·
25th.  The Wind N. W. calm, cloudy & dark all this day , but continued dry all day: pd. O.Thomas the Smith's bill ,being 4s. 9d. Pd. Marged- ’chuw Morus 2s. 4d. for a side of Mutton,& pd. Rhys Bentir is. 4d. for a quarter of Veal & the head.
26th.  The Wind W. blowing pretty fresh & cold, cloudy & dark weather, but dry all this day, yet we could not venture to spread the hay Cocks, it looking so like rainy weather.
27th.  The Wind N. blowing moderate yet cold, Sun Shiny,fair & dry all day: The Priest preached on Ezeck: Chap:33d. & verse iith.
