October 18th.  The Wind  S.W. cloudy & dark, makeing some rain in the Morning ; The Evening cloudy & windy, but dry till 10 at night when it made a great rain .
19th.  The Wind S.W. blowing high & cold, and raining excessive hard from 3 in the morning till [6 sw]. dry & fair the rest of the day . Planted Beans & sowed some Pease to day for the first time.
20th.  The Wind W.S.W. blowing very high & cold, but dry all day; but about 9 at night it rained very hard.
21st.  The Wind S.S.W. very calm, and rain excessive hard from 4 in the morning with very little inter= - mission till 3 in the Evening, dry from that time till 8 at night, then excessive rain again most part of ye night so that I never remember to see greater water upon the ground and more floods. Pd. Wm. Prichard of Maes Mawr, one of the Collectors of the Land Tax for this parish 27s. 4d. for my Lands in my own holding in Llanfechell .
22d.  The Wind N.W. blowing fresh, sun shiny & fair all day, pd Abraham Jones 6d. for fish;
23d.  The Wind S.S.W. cloudy , dark, and cold raw weather finished sowing Rye to day, & my people employed in digging of, and carrying home Gorse for fîre .
24th.  The Wind S. Sun shiny, fair & very warm all day.
25th.  The Wind E. cloudy & something cold, but dry all day– The Parson preached on Luk.Chap 22d. vers 19th.
