| 6th. The Wind W. & byS. and blowing moderate; this day was dry with - some Sun shine, almost all the Barley that I have being reaped and unbound, was exposed to all the last rain, so that I have people to day stubling of it to dry: Paid 2s. for a Side of Mutton . |
| 7th. The Wind W. in the morning and blowing moderate; about ii it came to E. & so to N. E. till it settled at last at N. blowing all the while - very fresh and very cold: I have a great many people to day binding the Barley that was stubled yesterday . |

| 9th. The Wind W. in the morning. blowing very fresh & exceeding cold, about noon it came to S.W. blew fresh and made a mizlaing rain from 4 in the Evening till near 7 at night. Paid my Sister Catherine five pounds in part of her Interest money. |
